Telehealth gives us a glimpse into our health care future – but public and private sector choices will determine whether telehealth fully lives up to its promise.
Ensuring high-quality, accessible, equitable telehealth will require close attention to several questions:
- Who is using telehealth, who isn’t, and why?
- How can leaders promote safe, high-quality telehealth access that enhances coordinated care, advances racial equity, and meets patient needs?
- How can health care providers design and implement telehealth in a thoughtful way to achieve these goals?
This conversation about telehealth and the future of care delivery took place on June 14, 2021.
